ICF & bespoke builds:

Recently we have taken part in a bespoke project using insulated concrete forms (ICF), unlike using traditional formwork methods and blockwork, which is costly and labour intensive, this project used ICF. This has several benefits which have a proven track record across the world in extreme weather environments. These range from heat retention and cooling of the building without assistance from major appliances, reducing heating and electricity bills drastically, alongside being extremely durable and long lasting. The insulated forms stay as part of the structure to be easily boarded over, rendered or cladded etc, reducing the labour involved in striking, cleaning and re forming traditional plywood forms.
